From the farm to the table, in one brand.
Brand identity, labels and retail for a family farm that sells meat it raises itself.
Gorata Farm raises its own cattle and sells the meat directly: at the farm shop, at markets and to restaurants. The quality was there, but the brand looked like any other butcher, and customers could not see the difference between meat from the farm and meat from a warehouse.
We built the brand around one promise, from the farm to the table, and made it visible everywhere: an engraved-style mark with the mountains above the farm, honest labels that put the facts first, a shop front, a delivery van and posters. Every touchpoint tells the same story of origin.

Labels that lead with facts
Buyers of quality meat look for proof. The label puts it first: zero antibiotics and hormones, 100% Bulgarian meat, the cut and the farm. The brand voice stays calm and the typography does the work, like a stamp on butcher paper.
Labels are printed on kraft and uncoated papers that survive the cold chain. We tested them in the fridge counter, where most labels lose contrast, before they went to print.
Earth, smoke and paper
The palette comes from the farm itself: dark earth, smoked brown, kraft and paper cream. It looks natural on packaging, warm in the shop and strong on the van.
The same colours and the engraved illustration style carry over to posters, menus for partner restaurants and social media, so the farm is recognisable before anyone reads the name.

How we worked and what we made
- 01Brief and goals
A first meeting, the right questions and clear goals: what the brand has to achieve and how we will measure it.
- 02Strategy and message
One clear position, values, tone of voice and, when needed, a name and a brand line.
- 03Logo and identity
Mark, wordmark and rules, refined until they work on a business card and on a facade.
- 04Packaging
Range architecture, labels and materials, designed for the shelf and for the press.
- 05Prepress and production
Files, proofs and press checks until the colour is exactly what you approved.
- 06Rollout
Stationery, signage, vehicles, digital templates and the office, all from one system.
Did the farm keep its name?
Yes. The name was already known locally, so we kept it and gave it a mark and a voice.
Which papers do you use for meat labels?
[Kraft and uncoated label papers rated for the cold chain, selected with the printer.]
Do you work with companies outside Bulgaria?
Yes. We work in English and Bulgarian and hand over files ready for any printer or agency.
